Evrotrust and Facilization announce partnership to help banks bring key services fully online across Europe

Tirana, Albania, 02 April 2026 – Evrotrust and Facilization announced a partnership to help banks and financial institutions across Europe move more customer journeys online, from onboarding to contract signing.

The partnership combines Facilization’s banking technology delivery and integration expertise with Evrotrust’s qualified trust services and EU notified electronic identity scheme. Evrotrust solution on remote identity verification is certified at the highest level of assurance for continuous compliance under eIDAS 2.0. Together, the companies will support banks that want customers to open accounts and sign agreements remotely, with strong identity checks and signatures that have the same legal value as signing on paper.

Why this matters now

Banks in the region are under growing pressure to offer fast digital services. Customers expect to do everything in minutes, without a branch visit. At the same time, banks must keep a high level of security, fight fraud, and meet strict compliance requirements. Many digital projects slow down because banks have to coordinate multiple vendors and build the journey step by step.

What will be different with this partnership

With Evrotrust and Facilization working together, banks can get one joined approach for both parts of the journey:
First, proving who the customer is online.
Second, signing the documents online in a legally compliant way.
This reduces delivery complexity and helps banks launch complete digital journeys faster.

Konstantin Bezuhanov, CEO of Evrotrust, said: “Banks want digital journeys that are simple for customers and safe for the bank. With Facilization, we bring together trusted digital identity and qualified signing with strong digital banking and lending expertise. That helps banks move from plans to live digital services faster.”

“Our mission has always been to facilitate the modernization of financial institutions,” said Gjergji Guri, Founder & CEO of Facilization. “Partnering with Evrotrust allows us to offer banks and financial institutions a seamless solution for fully digital customer journeys—from onboarding to contract signing. Together with Evrotrust, we are empowering financial institutions across the Western Balkans to meet the unique needs of their markets while driving digital innovation and growth in the region.”

Deep regional banking experience

Both companies have strong experience in the local markets and have supported leading financial institutions in the region. Evrotrust is used by major banking groups such as UniCredit, Raiffeisen, KBC, OTP and Procredit. Facilization has delivered banking projects for 38 major banks and financial institutions across Europe.
