Tirana, April 22, 2019 – For the second consecutive year, Facilization is a Gold Sponsor of the ICT Award, the annual and most important event in the field of Information Technology in Albania.
The ICT Award represents an excellent opportunity for talented young people and IT professionals, providing prizes in seven categories: ICT Innovation of the Year, ICT Mobility of the Year, ICT Diploma of the Year, ICT Growing Star, ICT Woman of the Year, ICT Public Service of the Year and CyberSecurity.
After intensive meetings with students, professionals, business leaders and representatives of the technology community in the Albanian territories, the deadline for applications was closed on 30 March with 110 applications received.
On March 31, the jury was convened for the first time in Tirana, part of which was also Mr. Gjergji Guri, General Director of Facilization.
On Friday, April 19, the jury traveled to Pristina and started a marathon weekend, during which, on April 20 – 21, the shortlisted candidates from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Montenegro presented their projects in front of the jury.
Only 8 days separate us from the Gala Evening, during which the winners of this edition will be announced and this year’s thrilling journey towards finding and evaluating the beautiful minds of the technology community will have completed its mission.
